#200 Express Entry Draw | CEC invites 3000 candidates

TWA REPORT – On August 5, 2021, Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted its 200th Express Entry (EE) draw for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) only. This is also the 15th CEC draw in 2021. A total of 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is 404, 47 points lower than the previous round.

TWA REPORT – On August 4, 2021, Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted its 199th Express Entry (EE) draw, also its 15th Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw of 2021. A total of 512 PNP candidates received Invitations to Apply (ITAs). Moreover, the draw featured a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 760 –– 26 points higher than the last PNP draw.

A total of 4,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued, and the lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is 357, 12 points lower than the previous round.

A total of 462 PNP candidates received Invitations to Apply (ITAs). Moreover, the draw featured a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 734, which is 26 points lower than the last PNP draw.

Canada has established a renowned reputation as a safe haven in its protection of those at risk. Meanwhile, the country actively seeks more conduits to aid. On Friday, July 16, Minister Marco E. L. Mendicino of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced the launch of an unprecedented refugee stream. The stream dedicates to protect human rights defenders at risk of persecution in their home country.

Open Work Permits Now Available for PR Pathway Applicants

On May 6, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released a new permanent resident pathway comprised of 6 streams. The pathway intends to grant 40,000 international graduates and 50,000 essential workers with permanent residence. Two months after the launch of the new pathway, today the IRCC has confirmed applicants’ eligibility for open work permits (OWP). All work permits issued under the new policy will terminate on December 31, 2022. Hence, PR pathway applicants can work legitimately in Canada while waiting for a decision.

#196 Express Entry Draw | IRCC raising standards?

Today, Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the 196th Express Entry draw. The draw invited 4,500 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. The minimum CRS score is 369, 12 points higher than the previous CEC round. In alignment to IRCC’s newest procedures, candidates must complete their applications within 60 days upon receiving their Invitation to Apply (ITA).

Express Entry Issued Record Breaking Number of Invitations

So far, 2021 has been a year of mixed sentiments. With optimistic vaccine rollouts on one hand, and the fear of new Delta strains on the other. Need not to mention the ongoing economic recoveries, societal altercations, and many else. While these happenings occupy our attention, the Canadian immigration system undergoes some phenomenal, innovative transitions. The Express Entry (EE), invited a record-breaking number of candidates for the first half of 2021, and we will definitely perceive a perpetual rise for the latter half of the year.
